Exaggerate

This was a one week project where we had to make imagery using exaggeration. I decided to look at what happens if you exaggerate the importance of signs, their meaning or just their size. These are 3 of the final images.

Envirotype 1st response

This was a two week project where we had to find something that we were angry or annoyed about and create a short message that when placed in a particular context would easily convey this message. My first response to this brief was looking at when customers are rude to sales assistants. In order to portray this I changed the language on a receipt, reminding the customers that they do leave a mark.

3D to 2D fonts

Just a couple of images of a two day project where we had to take 3d objects and transform them into 2d letters, creating a new typeface using all of the alphabet. We chose the theme environment and this is what we came up with. The second image is a few names made up out of the letters.

Sculptures

Thought I better kick off this blog sooner rather than later and what a better time to start than today, when I can share some photos I recently took. The project title was 'Sculptures', the idea to create a set of one minute sculptures using objects surrounding you. You could place them out of context or put items together in order to create some rather surreal.

Here are some of the final images
